WELCOME BACK TO THE NEW SEASON OF CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL...

I hope you are all refreshed and ready to go again, for another nail biting, thrilling, goal free for all season. This season may see a different objective though. With the majority of our big name players dissapearing over the summer, and without them being replaced by similar calibre players it has left us with some what of a depleated squad, that included many youngsters. I feel the youngsters at this club have a lot to show and prove and will be again a vital asset this season. The likes of Shane Supple and Owen Garven are now getting cemented into the first team squad. This season with a depleated squad I cant see us going for automatic promotion. Playoffs at best and if we get that I will be more than happy. Of course there are moaning town fans out there, that if we dont go up champions they will be moaning, but they are only a minority. Shame one of them sits directly behind me in the North Stand but hey!

Have faith in the squad this season, and good luck to all the new players who joined over the summer; Sam Parkin, Nicky Forster, Jimmy Juan (loan), Mark Fisch (loan), Jaime Peters, and Sito.

Come On You Blues, and bring on the Scummers!
